Documentary photographer based in South Dakota. The photographs of Cedric N. Chatterley span the years 1983-2008, and follow his career as a documentary photographer. The photographs are primarily gelatin silver black-and-white prints ranging in size from 8x10 to 18x24 inches. Although Chatterley's areas of interest are broad, the most prominent themes in his work are labor, community, and religious expression. Chatterley has photographed chicken slaughterhouse workers in Maine, Cambodian immigrants in North Carolina, blues musicians in Mississippi, and tornado survivors in South Dakota.
